Monica and Mark’s wedding was filled with personal touches. The couple married October 8, 2015. Monica made for a stunning bride in a fitted lace gown with a mermaid flair and full-length veil. The ensemble was accented with a diamond heart necklace. She carried a bouquet of red and orange roses with additional flowers in fiery fall colors. Her bridesmaids wore slate grey lace halter dresses with crystal studded shoes. Mark wore a dark grey tuxedo with a vest and purple tie.
As the processional began, the young ring bearer became nervous, but the boy’s mother helped him down the aisle. Then the bride met both of her fathers halfway down the aisle where they walked her to her groom. As part of the ceremony, family members left notes they had written for the bride and groom in a wine box that was locked until the couple’s first wedding anniversary.
For speeches, the groom’s son talked about how proud he was to be Mark’s son and how great his father is. Monica’s daughter thanked Mark for being an amazing father figure to her. To honor both of her own fathers, Monica had two father & daughter dances to the songs I Loved Her First and I Wish playing. The mother & son dance was to Because You Loved me. For toasts, the newlyweds sipped out of custom champagne flutes with gold detail.
Favors were personalized M&Ms in the couple’s wedding colors presented in gold drawstring bags. For those who needed a little caffeine at the end of the night, a coffee bar was set up. And, for entertainment, there was a photo booth to capture the spirit of the day.
The sweetest treat was the wedding cake finished with orange buttercream and textured flowers. The middle tier sparkled with sugar crystals and was tied with a silver ribbon.
The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Monica & Mark. May your love, kindness and compassion guide you through the years to come. We wish you the best.
