Ariel and Neal were married November 22nd, 2015. For the ceremony the bride wore her hair in a partial up-do. She wore a strapless gown from David’s Bridal that was fitted to the hips before flowing out into ruffled layers. Blue satin shoes occasionally peeked out from under the dress. A blusher veil was worn with scalloped edges and beaded details. The bridal bouquet was filled with wildflowers and was wrapped with blue ribbon. Ariel’s bridesmaids, by Ariel’s side throughout the day and throughout the years, wore blue gowns with empire waists from JJ House and also carried bouquets of wildflowers. For his wedding day Neal wore a traditional black tuxedo with piping, a white vest, white shirt and white bowtie with blue and green argyle socks while his groomsmen were in black tuxedos with black vests and black bowties. They all wore calla lilies in their lapels.
The bride’s father walked her down the aisle to the altar that was decorated with an elaborate flower arrangement and candles on either side. The pastor was Ariel’s youth pastor giving and intimate feel to the ceremony. The couple wrote their own vows and had a wine box that they filled with letters to one another and miniature bottles of sparkling cider.
During the reception, the couple’s first dance was to When You Got A Good Thing by Lady Antebellum followed by the father and daughter dance to My Little Girl, a mother and son dance to Simple Man. The couple also included a dance with the mother of the bride with her daughter and the mother of groom with her son to I Loved Her First.
A special slideshow played for the couple. Favors were candies in blue boxes tied with orange ribbons. Another sweet treat was the wedding cake. The top and bottom tiers had embossed hearts in white and the middle tier was embossed with polk-a-dots. Blue ribbon wrapped each tier while orange fondant flowers cascaded down the side of the cake.
Congratulations Ariel & Neal. You have more than a good thing, you have the best thing in the world with your love for one another. We wish you the best.
