When Rachael and Matt met, they knew their relationship wasn’t going to be a casual one. The couple dated for only two months before becoming engaged. They married seven months after that on November 19, 2015.
For her wedding day, the bride wore a lace gown with a high-necked color in back that came to a V-neck in front with sheer lace sleeves. In back, a large bow added a dramatic element. Her bridesmaids were dressed in assorted floor-length white and ivory dresses. The groom was clothed in a grey tuxedo with a white shirt and ivory satin tie.
The couple married at temple before arriving at Villa Siena for their reception where they exchanged Why I Love You remarks to celebrate their marriage. At the reception, thank you notes written by the bride were awaiting each guest at their place setting. The thank-you notes doubled as place cards. Kids weren’t left out of the fun of the day. At each child’s place setting was a coloring book and markers for before dinner and stuffed animals to play with after dinner. With all eyes on them, the couple took to the dance floor to Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra.
After dinner, wedding cake was served. The cake was three tiers with the bottom tier decorated with a fondant rose pattern, a W monogram on the middle tier and pearl beading around the top tier. In addition to the formal cake there was also an almond, spice and chocolate groom’s cake served and a table of assorted homemade cookies including homemade Oreos. What are cookies and cake without gelato? A multi-flavored gelato bar was just what was needed to fill in the cracks between dinner and dessert.
Congratulations Rachael & Matt. May you both live happily ever after. We wish you the best.
