Kenna and Andrew met after church one day, and were married on Friday, January 22, 2016 with a beautiful outdoor ceremony.
Kenna modeled a Brilliant Bridal wedding dress with a V-neck, long sleeves, and a trumpet hem – all covered with a layer of lace and belted with a soft-white ribbon. Kenna carried a posy-tied bouquet of blush pink and white roses with baby’s breath. Her four bridesmaids donned blush pink, tea-length dresses with unique necklines, sleeves, and shoes.
Andrew sported a charcoal gray suit with a matching necktie, complete with a white shirt and white rose pinned to his lapel. His four groomsmen wore matching grey suits, theirs with suspenders and soft purple bowties.
Kenna and Andrew had their wedding reception on winter evening in front of a crackling fireplace, and provided blankets to their guests. Attendees were also encouraged to Instagram Kenna and Andrew’s special day, and hashtag the photo with #OnceUponAHett. Guests were also asked to write their well wishes in a square on a displayed quilt for the couple.
A dinner from Park Avenue Catering was served, featuring salad, breadsticks, and a make-your-own pasta station – which included tortellini and penne pasta, red and cream sauce, and toppings like chicken, broccoli, squash, and peppers. Kenna and Andrew’s reception also featured a unique wedding cake: 10 tiers of pink and cream-colored macaroons.
Kenna and Andrew’s first dance was to “All I Ever Wanted” by Brian Melo, and the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances were held simultaneously.
Best wishes to Kenna and Andrew and their new life together!
