Tyler’s mother was Adilene’s kindergarten teacher, and they began dating in high school – eventually marrying on Friday, May 20, 2016.
Adilene modeled a semi V-neck, Pronovias wedding gown with a mermaid hem and a sheer veil held in her pinned up hair. She clutched a rounded bouquet of soft pink and white roses, tied with cream-colored ribbon. Her four bridesmaids held small bouquets of rounded white roses, and donned soft pink, lace textured, sweetheart cut sheath gowns.
Tyler sported a three-piece black suit with black satin trim, plus a black bowtie and white dress shirt. His lapel held a small bundle of white flowers. His four groomsmen wore two-piece black suits with white dress shirts and black neckties – complete with white roses on their lapels.
This reception-only affair included a buffet dinner of Caesar and Napa Valley salads followed by creamy pesto, Alfredo supremo, and chicken parmesan. The three-tier, vanilla and raspberry flavored cake came in soft pink and textured, glittery gold, complete with a sparkling silver “Mrs. & Mr.” cake topper.
Guests also enjoyed an open bar, including beer, margaritas, and His and Her signature drinks: the Irish Bastard (Jack and Coke), and the Cochina Latina (Malibu with raspberry lemonade). There was also a Honeymoon Fund jar.
The Father of the Groom, Ted, thanked everyone for coming, and the Best Man, Chris, expressed how amazing it has been to watch them grow as husband and wife and father and mother, saying “Everyone is here to support.” The Maid of Honor and Tyler’s little sister, Mckenzie, talked about how Tyler asked Adilene out on her birthday because she wouldn’t say no, and Mckenzie said she was proud of her brother. Adilene and Tyler also addressed their guests, thanking everyone for being there.
Adilene and Tyler’s first dance was to “One” by Ed Sheran, which was followed by a Father/Daughter Dance and the Mother/Son Dance.
Guests were treated to a mini box of Krispy Kreme donuts as they left. Adilene and Tyler left under the signature sparkler farewell, and we wish all the best to the happy couple.
