Sarah and Kevin were married on Saturday, June 4, 2016.
Sarah modeled a Mia Solano semi sweetheart wedding gown from Luv Bridal, complete with a trumpet hem and a cathedral veil. She also wore a single strand of pearls, and held a bouquet of coral and white roses. Her four bridesmaids wore coral sheath gowns from David’s Bridal with illusion necklines.
Kevin sported a two-piece black suit with a white dress shirt and gold necktie. His groomsmen also wore black suits with white dress shirts and gold ties, plus white pocket squares and roses on their lapels.
During the indoor ceremony, it was said, “One gift that sustains everyone is love.” The pastor blessed the rings before they were exchanged. They also had a group prayer for the bride and groom.
A dinner began with salads of baby greens with fruit, crumbled feta, sugared walnuts, and raspberry vinaigrette. A buffet dinner followed of braised beef short ribs, grilled chicken, potatoes au gratin, and fresh green beans with toasted almond slivers.
The four-tier wedding cake was layered in white fondant with white detail piping, a gold ribbon at the bottom of each tier, and pink gumpaste flowers. The elegant cake topper was a white, iridescent bride and groom.
During toasts, the parents of the bride wished the couple a marriage like theirs. Samantha, the Maid of Honor, knew the bride since third grade, and wished the couple good luck. The Best Man Nick has known the groom since high school gave the groom advice.
Sarah and Kevin’s First Dance was to Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.” The Father/Daughter Dance was to “Fix You” by Boyce Avenue, and the Mother/Son Dance was to Ben Harper’s “Happy Ever After in Your Eyes.”.
The reception also featured DIY centerpieces made by the bride. The guests were treated to buttermint cream candies. Guests were also asked to share their memories on social media with the hashtag #kandsstytles.
Sarah and Kevin left under the signature sparkler farewell. We wish them the best!
