Jamie and Matthew met in 2009 when working together in Tucson at Famous Dave’s BBQ. They were married on Sunday, May 22, 2016.

Jamie donned a Lazaro wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline, and an ivory and silver alencon lace bodice accented with a peplum at the waist. The ivory tulle ballgown skirt was circular with horsehair pickups and a chapel train. The eight bridesmaids wore V-neck, sleeveless, Badgley Mischka sheath gowns in blush sequin. Each member of the bridal party held a bouquet of white and soft pink roses, complete with dangling white ribbon.

Matthew sported a black, three-piece suit with white dress shirt and black bowtie. His eight groomsmen matched his attire.

During the outdoor ceremony, the officiant took a selfie with the bride and groom, and others were encouraged to share their captured memories on social media with the hashtag #happilyeverafterhesse. The officiant expressed the importance of marriage and love, yet noted that love is meant to be felt, not described. Matt recited his vows, saying Jamie is his best friend, and she taught his how to dream and fall in love. Jamie said she sees them traveling the world together, and that Matt understands her like no one else does.

Dinner started with mixed greens, followed by sliced beef tenderloin, grilled chicken breast filled with prosciutto and provolone, fresh green beans, and twice-baked potatoes. The four-tiered white wedding cake was adorned in a hand-painted design from Disney’s Tangled. There was also a popcorn table: mason jars filled with flavored popcorn for guests.

During toasts, the Father of the Bride thanked everyone for coming, and toasted to the future. The Mother of the Bride thanked Matt’s family for raising a wonderful man for her daughter. The Father of the Groom talked about his son, and thanked the crowd for coming. The Best Man, Andrew, said he was proud of Matt and happy for the couple. The Maid of Honor, friends with Jamie since freshman year of high school, said she was proud of Jamie’s strength, and wished them all the happiness in the world.

Jamie and Matt’s first dance was to Tangled’s “I See The Light.” A Father/Daughter Dance and Mother/Son Dance followed.

Jamie and Matt went to Paris for their honeymoon, and were most excited to see Disneyland Paris! We wish all the best to the new couple.
