Nicole and Justin were together for seven years before getting married on Sunday, September 25, 2016.
Nicole donned a fitted, lace-textured wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline and mermaid hem – all covered in beads. She also wore lace-covered white flats and an elbow-length veil, complete with a set of pearl earrings, bracelet, and necklace. She held a posy-tied bouquet of purple and blush pink roses with baby’s breath, while her three bridesmaids held smaller bouquets of purple and white roses. Her bridesmaids wore tea-length lavender dresses with varying necklines and sandals.
Justin wore a light gray suit with a white shirt and purple necktie, as did his groomsmen. A small cluster of greenery ornamented each lapel.
The outdoor wedding was held at the end of a white carpet. The officiant expressed how “Love, loyalty, and understanding is the foundation of a good marriage.” Nicole and Justin wrote letters to each that they recited before their first kiss as man and wife.
Dinner started with rolls and salads, followed by roasted chicken, steamed vegetables, potatoes, and penne pasta with roasted red peppers. Nicole’s aunt made the two-tiered wedding cake, which was covered in soft purple and pink roses, and topped with a kissing bride and groom – with the bride holding a purple balloon. There were also glass shelves of lavender-colored cupcakes.
During toasts, the Best Man Dana talked about how he and the groom grew up together, and how they share a special bond. He gave his best wishes to the bride and groom. The reception also featured a fingerprint-style sign-in table, a personalized photo booth, plenty of DIY decorations, and a kid’s table.
A choreographed dance of Capital Cities’ “Safe and Sound” was also performed.
Nicole and Justin left under the signature sparkler farewell. Best of luck to the newlyweds!
