Amanda and Robert were married on Sunday, September 11, 2016 in a Beauty & the Beast inspired wedding!
Amanda modeled a bedazzled wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline and ballgown skirt – complete with an elbow length veil. She held a simple yet large bouquet of stark red roses, which was tied with a white ribbon. Her bridesmaids wore dark blue chiffon gowns with asymmetrical necklines and small bouquets of bright yellow roses.
Robert sported a black suit with a dark blue vest and pocket square, complete with a white necktie over a white shirt, and a classic red rose on his lapel. His groomsmen wore black suits with dark blue pockets squares, pale yellow bowties, and fresh yellow roses on their lapels.
The outdoor ceremony was held at the end of a red carpet adorned in yellow and red rose petals. The officiant said, “To love someone is to make the extra effort,” and said to let the value of true love grow and it will enrich their lives. Visibly moved by the occasion, Amanda and Robert also read their personalized vows.
Dinner included Caesar salads followed by sliced beef tenderloin with horseradish aioli and cognac cream sauce along with green beans and potatoes au grautin. The three-tiered white wedding cake came adorned with blue fondant and a silhouette of “Beauty & the Beast.” Red roses also ornamented the top and sides of the dessert. There were also red roses under glass domes next to the sign in table, where guests signed wishing stones.
During toasts, the Mother of the Bride, Crystal, said Robert swept Amanda off her feet and makes her so happy. The Maid of Honor and Amanda’s best friend said Amanda is excited to start her married life. Travis, the Best Man, gave his best wishes to the bride and groom.
Amanda and Robert’s First Dance was to “I Won’t Give Up” by Jason Mraz, and were joined by their young son Archer for a part of it. There was also a Father/Daughter Dance.
We wish this small family the greatest amount of happiness.
