Kristin and Russ were married on Friday, November 4, 2016.
Kristin wore a Mia Solano wedding gown from Lux Bridal, which came with a sweetheart neckline, a corset-style back, and fluffy tulle trumpet skirt. The gown was back dropped by a sheer fingertip veil, and she held a hand-tied bouquet of soft pink roses with deep maroon flowers. Her bridesmaids wore floor-length gowns that were deep maroon in color.
Russ sported a three-piece navy suit with a maroon necktie and pocket square, complete with a white lily pinned to his lapel. His groomsmen wore dark gray suits, also with maroon neckties and pocket squares, as well as white lilies on their lapels.
Kristen was walked down the white-carpeted aisle strewn in rose petals for the outdoor wedding ceremony. The officiant offered a prayer, and told “The Rocking Chair Story,” which focuses on the love two people can reflect upon. Kristin and Russ read personal vows, and performed the wine and love letter box ceremonies.
Dinner later included a mixed greens salad with vinaigrette, beef tenderloin, and steamed vegetables with risotto. The three-tiered, rectangle-in-shape wedding cake had a drizzle design on the top two layers, came with a deep mauve ribbon, and was accented with red and pink roses. The groom’s cake was a small, two-tiered round dessert with a stars and stripes theme in red, white, and blue fondant.
During the receptions, the Best Man and Matron of Honor gave toasts congratulating the couple. Kristin and Russ’s First Dance was to Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” featuring John Legend.
Kristin and Russ left their wedding night under the signature sparkler farewell, and we wish them happiness in their new life together.
