Jamie and Allen were married on Saturday, October 15, 2016.
Jamie modeled a stunning, illusion-backed wedding gown with a V-neck and a fitted, lace-textured bodice. She stood upon bejeweled, gold-colored high heels, and held a bouquet of blush pink roses with white hydrangeas. Her five bridesmaids wore blush pink gowns with asymmetrical necklines and silver heels. They held smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Allen donned a two-piece navy suit with a striped bowtie and plush white rose pinned to his lapel. His groomsmen wore two piece navy suits with navy neckties and smaller, blush pink roses on their lapels. The Best Man wore a silver necktie.
Jamie and Allen shared a traditional Assyrian wedding ceremony, and prayers were said in both Arabic and English. It was said, “You will become one in mind and heart.” A traditional Assyrian crowning ceremony also followed.
Dinner included mixed greens salads with assorted fruit and raspberry vinaigrette, followed by beef tenderloin, grilled chicken with olive oil and herbs, green beans, and twice-baked potatoes. The white wedding cake had four tiers – two circular and two square in shape – and was covered with white beads and fresh flowers. The cake topper read, “Jamie & Allen.” There was also a candy table with an assortment of sweets.
During toasts, the Maid of Honor – Allen’s sister Delilah – thanked relatives for coming, and said she knows Jamie takes care of her family here in Arizona. The Best Man Chris, the groom’s best friend, gave a very emotional speech and congratulated the couple.
Jamie and Allen’s First Dance was to “Young And Beautiful” by Eli Lieb. The new couple left under the signature sparkler farewell, and we wish them the best in their new life together.
