Christina & Brandon ~ November 13, 2016

Christina and Brandon met through mutual friends at a New Year’s Eve party, and were man and wife on Sunday, November 13, 2016.

Christina modeled a sweetheart cut wedding gown with a beaded bodice and a mermaid hem, complete with floor-length veil. She stood on nude-colored, bedazzled peep-toe heels, and held a hand-tied bouquet of white roses with plenty of greenery and a long, dusty mint ribbon. Her four bridesmaids wore floor-length navy gowns with beaded, halter cut tops.

Brandon sported dove-gray trousers and vest with a navy blazer, and a navy-colored necktie in a paisley print. A light pink, plush rose ornamented his lapel, and a dove-gray pocket square edged out of his jacket. His four groomsmen wore dove gray suits with navy vests and paisley ties, all complete with light pink roses on their lapels and a navy pocket square.

The wedding ceremony was held at the end of a white carpet flanked with white rose petals. It started out with a story about their proposal, and it was said, “They are God’s gift to each other” and “Love is the creator of their favorite memories.” The bride and groom gave their mothers roses as thanks, and there was a reading from Corinthians.

Dinner later started with a mixed greens salad with vinaigrette, followed by sliced beef tenderloin or chicken breast with twice baked potatoes and vegetables. The three-tiered wedding cake came with a pink-colored base made to look like roses, a monogrammed middle tier with “CYB,” and a top tier with fondant made to look like dangling pearls and pink roses.

During toasts, a bridesmaid, Brandon’s sister, talked about how warm and caring Christina is, and how well she will fit into the family. P.J., the Best Man and Christina’s brother, mildly teased the bride, but said she sets an example for him, and they share lots of laughs with the groom.

Christina and Brandon’s traditional First Dance was to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. Guests were also treated to personalized rolls of mints as favors reading “Mint to Be.”

The new couple left under the signature sparkler farewell. We wish Christina and Brandon a wonderful lifetime together.
