Paula and Larry were classmates in high school, but became man and wife on Friday, December 23, 2016.
Paula wore an A-line wedding gown from Allure Bridal, complete with a beaded, V-shape neckline and a lace train. She also wore a fingertip veil, and held a hand-tied bouquet of red, white, and peach-colored roses with lots of greenery. Her four bridesmaids wore marsala-colored, floor-length gowns with halter necklines. They each held matching bouquets.
Larry sported a dark gray, three-piece wool suit with a maroon-patterned tie, a white pocket square, boots, and a festive pinecone on his lapel. His three groomsmen wore charcoal gray, three-piece suits, also with patterned neckties, white pocket squares, and pinecones on their lapels.
The officiant of the outdoor wedding ceremony was a family friend. Paula’s brother had walked her down the aisle – which was a plush red carpet.
Dinner later included chicken and ravioli. The rounded, three-tiered wedding cake came in white fondant with gold beads and a marsala-colored ribbon at the bottom of each tier. The golden cake topper simply read the word “love” in cursive.
Guests were also treated to mini bottles of Martinelli’s as favors. The wedding’s signature drinks were Something Blue and Something Not Blue. Guests were asked to use the hashtag #tisthestephensons when sharing memories on social media.
Paula and Larry’s First Dance was to “I Was Made For Loving You” by Tori Kelly featuring Ed Sheeran. The Mother/Son Dance was to “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban, and the Bride/Brother Dance was to “My Baby You” by Marc Anthony.
We wish Paula and Larry much luck in this new chapter in their lives.
