They met seven years ago at New Mexico State University, and on February 4, 2017, Britany and Jonathan tied the knot.
Britany wore a dazzling lace gown with long sleeves and deep V-neck and V-back. She accesorized with drop earring and sparkly beaded heels. Her bouquet included roses and peonies in shades of red, pink, and white, tied with a white ribbon. Her seven bridemaids wore sparkly gold floor-length dresses in spaghetti strap, strapless, and one-shoulder silhouettes, and carried smaller versions of Britany’s bouquet.
Jonathan looked handsome in a traditional tuxedo with black bow tie and white pocket square. His seven groomsmen wore black suits, black ties, and white pocket square.
The white aisle runner was lined with white and pink rose petals as Britany walked to meet her groom. The officiant reminded the couple that there is no closer relationship on Earth than the one between husband and wife.
The reception featured unique wedding favors in the form of small bottles of herb-infused olive oil, and a buffet dinner of chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and salad. During the speeches, Britany’s mother told the guests about a time she drove from the airport with Jonathan, and how it was then she realized that he was the love of her daughter’s life. Britany’s father expressed how happy he was that she and Jonathan had found each other, and that God had blessed them with each other.
Jonathan and Britany shared their first dance to the sound of “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. Britany and her father danced to Rascal Flatts’ “My Wish,” and Jonathan and his mother danced to “Never Alone” by Lady Antebellum.
After cutting the wedding cake, a three-tiered creation featuring gold curlicues and flower accents topped with the couple’s last initial, Britany and Jonathan were celebrated with a sparkler send-off, then drove off in a vintage Rolls-Royce.
We wish the happy couple a life full of love and joy!
