Laura and Daniel were married on February 26, 2017.
Laura chose an elegant lace mermaid gown embellished with crystal beading on the neckline and at the waist. She wore drop earrings and a lace-edged veil, and carried a bouquet that included roses and hydrangeas in tones of red and ivory, along with botanical elements. Her five bridemaids wore matching floor-length navy blue dresses, and carried bouquets of red and white flowers tied with navy blue ribbons.
Daniel looked sharp in a navy blue three-piece suit with plum-colored tie and red rose boutonniere and white pocket square. The five groomsmen dressed to match the groom, and all the gentlemen added pizzazz to their ensembles with argyle socks in the color of each man’s favorite football team.
Laura walked down an aisle lined with white rose petals and white candles in glass vases. The indoor ceremony was officiated by a friend of the couple’s.
The reception began with a meal of Caesar salad, ribs, chicken, potatoes, and steamed vegetables.
Daniel and Laura danced their first dance together as a married couple to the sound of “Yours” by Russell Dickerson. Laura and her father danced to “Your Song” by Elton John, and Daniel and his mother danced to “Clocks” by Coldplay.
During the speeches, Daniel’s best man wished the newlyweds all the best. Laura’s two maids of honor both spoke; one recounted how she had Laura have been inseparable since meeting in middle school; the other shared how Laura had taught her to be herself and love herself. Daniel’s father told the guests how proud he was of his son, and Laura’s father expressed that being her dad was a privilege, and welcomed Daniel and his family into their family.
The three-tiered wedding cake featured a black ribbon encircling the base of each tier, red rose accents, and a custom cake topper with the couple’s last name.
We wish Laura and Daniel all the best in their new life together!
