Kacie & Liam ~ May 5, 2017

Kacie and Liam were married on May 5, 2017.

Kacie selected a sophisticated off-the-shoulder gown with a draped bodice. She accessorized with a pearl necklace and pearl drop earrings. Her bouquet included roses in red, white, and blush, with eucalyptus leaves and other botanical accents. The matron of honor wore a short-sleeved floor-length black gown with a lace illusion neckline, while the other six bridesmaids wore long black skirts with tulle overlays topped with short-sleeved white lace blouses. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Liam and his seven groomsmen wore black suits with red ties, red pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres.

Kacie’s father officiated the ceremony, and reminded the couple that in marriage, you need to operate as a team. Liam and Kacie recited vows they wrote themselves, and performed a unity ceremony to symbolize their new life together.

At the reception, guests enjoyed a meal of salad, prime rib, salmon, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables. Instead of a wedding cake, there was a tiered display of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes topped with a miniature cake with a bride dragging away a golfing groom.

During the speeches, Kacie’s father thanked Liam’s family, who live in Britain, for coming to the wedding. He also called his new son-in-law kind, generous, and a great golfer. Liam’s best man, his brother, joked that Kacie had chosen the wrong brother and told funny stories from their childhood.

Liam and Kacie danced their first dance as a married couple to “Planetarium” by Justin Hurwitz. Kacie and her father danced to “My Girl,” and Liam and his mother danced to “The Way You Look Tonight.”

Kacie and Liam departed the reception under the signature sparkler send-off.

We wish the newlyweds nothing but love and joy in their new life together!
