Keturah and Tyler, who met at Arizona State University, were married on May 28, 2017.
Keturah selected a romantic strapless trumpet gown that included a sweetheart neckline with lace and beading details throughout. She accessorized with drop earrings and a bead-edged veil. Her bouquet featured roses in shades of white, ivory, and pale pink. Her four bridesmaids wore identical, strapless, pale pink, full-length dresses with ruched bodices, and carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Tyler wore a light tan three-piece suit with tan vest, pink tie and pink pocket square. His four groomsmen wore tan suits with pink vests, pink ties, and pink pocket squares.
The ceremony included Tyler and Keturah taking Communion, and the couple reading personalized vows to one another.
Inside at the reception, guests enjoyed a meal of Caesar salad with beef tenderloin, ravioli primavera, and potatoes au gratin. Attendees were invited to sign small wooden hearts as a keepsake for the newlyweds. The wedding favors were tubes of lip balm.
During the speeches, the best man remarked on how happy Keturah has made Tyler. The maid of honor said that she knew Tyler was the one Keturah was waiting for. One of the groomsmen said that Tyler is like his brother, so Keturah is now his sister, and one of the bridesmaids talked about how well the newlyweds compliment each other. Keturah’s father told the guests how amazing he thinks Tyler is, and how happy he was when Tyler asked permission to marry his daughter.
Keturah and Tyler shared their first dance as a married couple to “Together” by Animal Island. Keturah and her father danced to “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” and Tyler and his mother danced to “I’ll Show You How to Live” by Sanctus Real.
The wedding cake was three tiers; the top and bottom were pink decorated with roses, and the center layer was white. The cake topper was a “Mr. and Mrs.” done in wire.
We wish Tyler and Keturah a wonderful life together!
