Brian and Michele, who met in Old Town Scottsdale, became husband and wife on July 1, 2017.
Michele chose a lovely ivory lace gown with spaghetti straps, a semi-sweetheart neckline, a plunging back, and a train. Her bouquet featured a mix of blooms in shades of pink and ivory accented with eucalyptus leaves. Her eight bridesmaids each wore a unique dress in a pink champagne color. They carried small bouquets of peonies. Her “bridesman” wore gray trousers with a white shirt and a sparky pink champagne bow tie.
Brian got married in a three-piece gray suit with a pink tie and a white rose boutonniere. His nine groomsmen wore gray trousers and vests with white shirts, pink ties, and white rose boutonnieres.
At the indoor ceremony, the officiant said that marriage is about saying “I love you,” never going to bed angry, and forgiving the little mistakes. Brian and Michele wrote their own vows to say to each other.
Guests dined on chicken Parmesan, creamy pesto pasta, Tuscan chicken, and creamy mushrooms and asparagus. For dessert, there was an ice cream stand.
During the toasts, Michele’s maid of honor, her sister, said that they grew closer as they grew up together, and that to love and be loved is everything. Brian’s best man, his brother, told funny stories about the past. Other bridesmaids thanked Brian for showing Michele unconditional love, and thanked Michele for her friendship. Michele’s friend said that to look at Brian and Michele is to see something pure and beautiful.
Brian and Michele danced for the first time as man and wife to “Grow Old” by Florida Georgia Line. Michele and her father danced to “Because You Loved Me” while a photo slideshow played. Brian and his mother danced to “Never Alone” while a photo slideshow played.
The three-tiered ribbed wedding cake was done in all white and was decorated with pink peonies and roses. The custom cake topper featured the couple’s last name.
Michele and Brian left their special day under the signature sparkler send-off. They honeymooned in Grenada and St. Lucia in the Caribbean.
We wish the happy couple all the best in the future!
