Erica & Bradley ~ September 9, 2017

Erica and Bradley, who met in Old Town Scottsdale and attended U of A together, were married on September 9, 2017.

Erica chose a sophisticated strapless A-line gown with a subtle sweetheart neckline, a bodice embellished with beading and lace, a satin ribbon belt, and pearl buttons down the back. Her bouquet was composed of mixed white flowers tied with a white ribbon. Her accessories included crystal chandelier earrings, sparkly Badgley Mischka heels, and a jeweled hair ornament. Her five bridesmaids wore individual knee-length to mid-length dresses in shades of champagne and blush, and carried small bouquets of white and pale pink flowers tied with white ribbons.

Bradley looked sharp in a black suit with a subtle plaid tie and white rose boutonniere. His seven groomsmen wore black suits with white ties and white rose boutonnieres.

In the ceremony, the officiant told funny stories about Bradley and Erica’s relationship, and talked about their shared love of adventure and how they make each other better. Erica and Bradley lit a unity candle to signify their new marriage.

At the reception, guests dined on caprese salad, grilled chicken breast marinated in olive oil and herbs, braised beef short ribs, herb-roasted potatoes, and assorted grilled vegetables. Unique touches included special gifts for the children to keep them entertained, and a cigar bar.

During the speeches, the Erica’s sisters talked about how beautiful she looked, and welcomed Bradley to the family. The best man read a poem he wrote about the strength of Erica and Bradley’s love. One of the groomsmen told the guests what it was like to watch the newlyweds’ relationship grow. Erica’s father talked about how much he loves Bradley and Erica, and welcomed Bradley’s family into his family.

Erica and Bradley shared a first dance together; Erica also danced with her father and Bradley danced with his mother.

The four-tiered wedding cake was all white except for a pale pink second tier. The custom wedding topper featured the couple’s last name. The groom’s cake was designed to look like a weight plate topped with a lacrosse stick. It was adorned with the University of Arizona logo.

We hope Erica and Bradley share a lifetime of love and happiness together!
