Brian and Katrina became man and wife on October 5, 2017.
Katrina selected a sophisticated sleeveless gown with a lace bodice, illusion neckline, and a flowing embellished skirt. Her accessories included a hip-length veil and stud earrings. Her bouquet was composed mainly of pink and white roses along with other flowers and botanical accents. Her maid of honor wore a full-length, sparkly, champagne-dress with spaghetti straps. Her four other bridesmaids wore strapless gowns with sparkly champagne-colored bodices and flowing light-pink skirts. All five carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Brian looked sharp in a dark blue three-piece suit with a pale pink tie and a mini bouquet boutonniere anchored by a pale pink rose. His five groomsmen dressed to match him.
During the ceremony, the officiant asked the guests to keep the couple’s wedding invitation on their refrigerators as a reminder to pray for them and their new marriage.
At the indoor/outdoor reception, guests dined on caprese salad, creamy Parmesan risotto, assorted grilled vegetables, grilled chicken breast with prosciutto and provolone cheese, and grilled mahi mahi with a light honey citrus glaze. The guest favors were packets of microwave popcorn with the couple’s picture on them.
During the speeches, Brian’s best man talked about his deep bond with Brian and what a great husband his friend will be, Katrina’s maid of honor shared about how she knew Brian was the right person for Katrina, and Katrina’s father told a story about a time he and Brian went hiking together.
After Brian and Katrina shared a first dance as man and wife, Katrina and her father danced to “Stand By Me.”
The three-tier wedding cake featured a brushed white frosting design. Each tier had a gold leaf border around the base, and the entire cake was decorated with pink roses.
We wish Katrina and Brian every happiness in their new marriage!
