Sonia was stunning in both her gowns–a classic ballgown with long embellished illusion sleeves, a lace-edged full skirt, and a full-length veil for the ceremony, and a sleeveless fit-and-flare trumpet gown for the reception. Her accessories included drop earrings and a tiara. She carried a bouquet of roses and hydrangeas in pale hues. Her maid of honor wore an off-the-shoulder fit-and-flare dress, while her six bridesmaids wore pale pink one-shoulder dresses. All seven carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Evan looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo with a black bow tie, black pocket square, and a boutonniere composed of several white flowers. His seven groomsmen wore black suits with white ties, white pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres.
The ceremony, which was held in Spanish and English, included a song sung by one of the bridesmaids.
Inside at the ceremony, guests enjoyed a meal of mixed-greens salad with red onions, feta cheese, golden raisins, pine nuts, and sweet vinaigrette dressing; Napa Valley salad with candied pecans, gorgonzola and goat cheeses, Belgian endive, and sweet vinaigrette dressing; chicken limone with lemon butter sauce, garlic, artichoke hearts, and capers; gorgonzola chicken with spinach, tomatoes, and creamy gorgonzola sauce; pasta rustico with marinara sauce, ricotta, garlic, and mozzarella; and creamy mushroom asparagus with sun-dried tomatoes and garlic sauce.
During the speeches, Evan’s best man told stories about him, and Sonia’s maid of honor talked about how the couple met. Other family members, including the bride and groom’s parents, also spoke.
Sonia and Evan danced their first dance together as a married couple to “Die With You” by Beyonce.
The four-tier white wedding cake had roses topping each layer. The custom cake topper featured the bride and groom’s names.
We wish Evan and Sonia all the love and happiness in the world!
