Ashley & Steve ~ October 26, 2017

Steven and Ashley became man and wife on October 26, 2017.

Ashley selected a classic A-line strapless gown with a subtle sweetheart neckline, lace overlay, jeweled belt detail, and a train. Her accessories included a pearl necklace, pearl earrings, and a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of light purple roses accented by other flowers in tones of white and deep purple, all tied with a white ribbon.

Steven wore a black suit with a black shirt, white vest, white tie, and rose boutonniere. His two groomsmen wore gray suits with purple ties and rose boutonnieres.

During the ceremony, the couple’s young son acted as ringbearer, and their young daughter was the flower girl.

Inside at the reception, guests signed wooden hearts as a keepsake for the newlyweds before sitting down to a meal of mixed-greens salad, stuffed chicken, twice-baked potatoes, and mixed vegetables.

Many people spoke during the toasts, include the maid of honor and the best man, other members of the wedding party, the bride’s parents, and the mother of the groom.

Steven and Ashley shared their first dance as a married couple to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. They also danced to “At Last” by Etta James. Ashley and her father danced to “Dance With My Daughter” by Jason Blaine, and Steven and his mother danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts.

The three-tiered all-white wedding cake featured a brushed frosting look. The cake was decorated with purple roses and topped with a unique dragon heart-shaped ornament.

We wish Ashley and Steven nothing but love and happiness in their new marriage!
