High school sweethearts Kendall and Sam were married on March 31, 2018.
Kendall looked beautiful in a split-shoulder gown with a lace-up back, and a sheer overlay embellished with lace and crystals. Her cascade-style bouquet was composed of a variety of white flowers along with botanical elements. Her maid of honor wore a mint green full-length dress with a halter neckline.
Sam got married in a gray suit with a white shirt, gray vest, sage green tie, sage green pocket square, and white rose boutonniere. His groomsmen and the bridesguys wore gray suits with white shirts, gray vests, sage green pocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres; some wore regular ties and some wore bow ties.
At the ceremony, the officiant told the couple that they fell in love by chance, but they were here together today by choice. Kendall and Sam did a unity candle ceremony to symbolize their new marriage.
In the reception, guests dined on classic Caesar salad, beef Wellington, grilled chicken breast filled with prosciutto and provolone cheese, au gratin potatoes, and glazed carrots.
During the speeches, the maid of honor talked about how long she and the bride have been friends and how close they are, and shared how she knew Sam was the one for Kendall. The best man wished the newlyweds a life full of happiness. The bride’s mother took a moment to honor the couple’s grandparents. The groom’s father gave the couple relationship advice.
Sam and Kendall danced together for the first time as man and wife to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Kendall and her father danced to “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle. Kendall and her mother danced to “Every Mother’s Dream” by Martina McBride. Sam and his mother danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts.
The three-tier white wedding cake had a beaded look with green ribbon lining the bottom of each tier. It was topped with white flowers.
We wish Kendall and Sam love, luck, and joy in their new marriage!
