Steve and Brianna became man and wife on June 9, 2018.
Brianna chose a romantic sleeveless fit-and-flare gown with a sheer illusion button-down back and an embellished lace overlay. Her accessories included drop earrings, Badgley Mischka strappy shoes, and a full-length veil. Her bouquet was arranged with an assortment of white and pink flowers accented with greenery. Her man of honor wore a black suit with a bow tie and white pocket square. Her five bridesmaids wore cap-sleeve full-length navy blue dresses with lace bodices. They carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Steve looked sharp in a black tuxedo with a white shirt, white bow tie, white pocket square, and mini bouquet boutonniere. His six groomsmen wore black tuxedos with white shirts, black bow ties, white pocket squares, and mini bouquet boutonnieres.
In the ceremony, the officiant told the couple that marriage is designed to free the beautiful masterpiece within them, and asked the guests to vow to support the newlyweds. Brianna and Steve said traditional vows, took Communion, and lit a unity candle together.
During the reception, guests dined on a mixed-greens salad with house vinaigrette dressing, filet mignon, griled chicken with a garlic herb glaze; penne pasta with a roasted red pepper vodka sauce, and a blend of wild rice, quinoa, and mixed vegetables. There was also a dessert table with a variety of treats.
In the speeches, the man of honor talked about how much Brianna means to him, and that he would do anything for her. The best man thanked Steve for being such a great friend. Brianna’s father talked about how patient and respectful Steve is toward Brianna.
Brianna and Steve danced together for the first time as a married couple to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Haley Reinhart. Brianna and her father danced to “I Loved Her First” by Patrick Sweeney.
The four-tier white wedding cake had two undecorated tiers and two with a brushed frosting look. The cake was accented with a cascade of flowers and custom topper with the couple’s last name. The groom had a Penn State-themed cake.
We wish the happy couple love and joy in their new marriage!
