Michaela and Elias were married on June 16, 2018.
Michaela looked radiant in a classic A-line gown with cap sleeves, V-neckline, deep V-shaped back, jeweled belt detail, lace bodice, and full skirt with a train and a lace overlay. Her accessories included drop earrings. Her bouquet wa s composed of white and lavender-colored roses. Her six bridesmaids wore knee-length royal blue one-shoulder dresses and carried multicolored bouquets.
Elias wore a gray three-piece suit with a gray vest, white shirt, royal blue tie, and a mini bouquet boutonniere. His six groomsmen wore three-piece gray suits with gray vests, white shirts, royal blue ties, and white rose boutonnieres.
Guests enjoyed a meal that included a green salad with fruit, pecans, feta cheese, and strawberry vinaigrette dressing; flatiron steak with pesto, butternut squash ravioli, and pork chops with a lemon sauce.
During the speeches, the maid of honor, who met the couple in a Zumba class, said that Michaela is like the sister she never had, and talked about how much the groom makes the bride laugh. The best man talked about how Elias always looks out for his friends, and how loyal he is.
Elias and Michaela’s first dance as man and wife was to “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green. Michaela and her father danced to “Cinderella” by Steven Curtis Chapman, and Elias and his mother danced to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Lauryn Hill and “Nour El Ein” by Amr Diab.
The three-tier wedding cake was designed to look like the night sky with the couple stargazing on the bottom tier. The cake was topped with a Mr. and Mrs. ornament and had Star Wars and Avengers figures on the back.
The newlyweds left their special day under the signature sparkler send-off.
We wish Michaela and Elias every happiness in their new marriage!
