Kyle and Hollie became man and wife on September 4, 2018.
Hollie looked stunning in a fit-and-flare sleeveless trumpet dress that featured jeweled straps, a sweetheart neckline, a scoop back, an embellished bodice, and a full ruffled skirt. Her accessories included a pendant neckline, pearl-and-crystal hair ornament, and strappy satin heels. Her bouquet was composed of a variety of flowers in shades of red, white, and pink accented with succulents, eucalyptus and other greenery. Her three bridesmaids wore coordinating full-length, halter-neck burgundy gowns. They carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Kyle wore a gray three-piece suit with a burgundy shirt, gray tie, burgundy shoes, and succulent boutonniere. His two groomsmen wore gray three-piece suits with white shirts, burgundy ties, burgundy shoes, and succulent boutonnieres. His grooms woman wore a gray suit with a white shirt and burgundy heels, and carried a version of the bride’s bouquet.
In the ceremony, Kyle told Hollie that he loves her for who she is, but also for making him who he is. Hollie called Kyle her superhero. There was an explanation of why we wear wedding rings on the left hand.
The sign-in table featured a card box with the couple’s initials on it, and photos of them and their parents. Guests used a seating chart to find their places. The wedding favors were wine glasses with the couple’s name on them filled with Hershey’s Kisses. Kyle and Hollie shared a sweetheart table. The meal included Caesar salad with pear tomatoes and Romano cheese; mashed potatoes with cream, mozzarella cheese, sour cream, and butter;green beans with slivered almonds; caprese chicken with buffalo mozzarella, grilled artichoke hearts, roasted tomatoes, basil, and a balsamic glaze.
In the toasts, the maid of honor shared how she and the bride have been through thick and thin together, and have stayed close despite living apart. She also gave Disney-themed wedding advice. The best man called the newlyweds Superman and Wonder Woman, and said that they help each other out, pick each other up, and compliment each other, and although they do fine on their own, together they’re unstoppable.
Hollie and Kyle shared their first dance as a married couple to“Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. Hollie and her father danced to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw, and she and her grandfather danced to “My Girl” by The Temptations. Kyle and his mother danced to “Have I Told You Lately?” by Rod Stewart. There was also an anniversary dance and a money dance.
Reception fun included a shoe game, photo booth, and a bouquet and garter toss.
The three-tier naked cake was accented with flowers and succulents and crowned with a “Love You More” topper.
We wish the happy couple a long and beautiful life together!
