A Fun-Filled Start to a Life-Long Romance
We get a lot of couples here at the Villa, and they each have a specific vision for their special day. Some want the elegant,fairy-tale experience. Others want to mix it up, do something quirky and fun.But we’ve never had a couple so seamlessly blend sophistication and silliness until we met Lauren and Ryan.
These two lovebirds went for the ultra-glamorous wedding experience. The ivory and burgundy color palette was incredibly romantic and sophisticated, and the rose and hydrangea bouquets added the perfect touch of drama. The wedding (which took place under the intricate chandeliers in our indoor ceremony space) was a serious, traditional affair, complete with a moment of silence and prayer for the couple as they embarked on their married life.
However, once Lauren and Ryan said “I do,” it was time to get the party started. They shared their first dance to Life house’s“You and Me,” and then sat down to a delicious plated dinner of mixed green salad, beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce, potatoes, and green beans.
While the guests enjoyed their dinner, they also had the opportunity to have a little fun — Lauren and Ryan had prepared a scavenger hunt for their guests to take part in and also invited them to makeup questions for a round of “The Newlywed Game.” It was a great way to engage with their guests throughout the evening, and a fun way to let their fun-loving spirits really shine!
During his speech, Lauren’s father remarked that“When their children find true love, their parents can find true joy.” And if Lauren and Ryan’s incredible wedding day is any indication, we’re sure that everyone in their lives will experience true joy for many, many years to come!
