Happily Ever After Starts Here
On September 20, we had the pleasure of hosting Jordan and Eric’s wedding here at the Villa. It was clear from the moment we met these high school sweethearts that they were truly in for a “happily ever after,” and their big day was a beautiful way to start their life together!
Jordan and Eric’s wedding was decked out in gorgeous shades of purple with white and grey accents. The bride was breathtaking in a lacy, strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, complete with a cathedral veil. And the groom? He was dashing in his dark grey suit and royal purple bow tie! Both their looks incorporated purple roses (she in her bouquet, he in his boutonniere) for an extra romantic touch.
And this wedding wasn’t just beautiful — it was also a heartwarming family affair. The couple was married by Jordan’s grandfather, who shared his wisdom about love and the responsibility of marriage. During the ceremony, the couple also poured different colored sand into an hourglass to symbolize their love for one another, their coming together as man and wife, and the many happy hours they’ll share together.
After the ceremony, it was time to get the party started! Guests enjoyed open seating in our elegant ballroom for a buffet dinner of beef, chicken, cheesy pasta, veggies, and salad, while the couple and their bridal party laughed and chatted at the head table. Eric and Jordan shared their first dance as husband and wife to Ed Sheeran’s Perfect, and they each enjoyed a special dance with their mother and father.
Although their wedding was a traditional one, Jordan and Eric managed to include some quirky elements that reflected their fun personalities. Guests answered trivia questions about the couple to be excused for dinner, and a memory table in the ballroom documented their long, lovely romance. It was so cute to see how their high school love blossomed into much more!
Finally, as the evening came to a close, guests saw Jordan and Eric off with dazzling sparklers and a great big smiles. We think the couple said it best: “Happily ever after starts here!”
