Melissa & Chad – November 5, 2018

Melissa and Chad were married on November 5, 2018.

Melissa selected a sophisticated strapless ballgown with a sweetheart neckline, ruched bodice, back button detail, and full skirt with a long train. Her accessories included drop earrings, a jeweled hair decoration, and a waist-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of red roses accented with white lilies. Her eight bridesmaids wore full-length red dresses with halter necklines. They each carried a white lily tied with a white ribbon.

Chad looked sharp in a black suit with a white shirt, white tie with a subtle stripe pattern, and white pocket square. His eight groomsmen wore black suits with white shirts, black ties, and red rose boutonnieres.

During the ceremony, the maid of honor and best man read selections from the Bible, and Melissa and Chad took communion. The officiant spoke about the four truths of love and marriage, and the couple recited personal vows to each other. A string quartet provided music. Guests blew bubbles as the newlyweds walked down the aisle after the ceremony.

The meal for the outdoor menu included pasta, chicken Parmesan, and a salad with vinaigrette dressing. An accordion player provided music during dinner.

During the speeches, the best man spoke about how proud he is of his big brother, and how happy he is for the newlyweds. One of the bridesmaids shared how much she loves Melissa and Chad and how grateful she is for their friendship. Melissa’s father said that his daughter found her soulmate in Chad, and how happy he is for them. The father of the groom spoke of his love and appreciation for his son, and his joy about the marriage.

Chad and Melissa danced for the first time as husband and wife to “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts. Melissa and her father danced to “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle. Chad and his mother danced to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. The song for the anniversary dance was “Remember When” by Alan Jackson.

The three-tier white wedding cake was decorated with a dot design on the top and bottom layers, red roses in between tiers, and a “God Gave Me You” topper.

The newlyweds left under the signature sparkler send-off.

We wish them all the love and joy in the world!
