From Blind Date to Bride and Groom
We like to believe that Jennifer Esposito’s aunt knew what she was doing when she introduced her niece to Nick Becker. Turns out, that blind date she orchestrated launched a beautiful love story, and earlier this year Jennifer and Nick tied the knot here at the Villa!
The wedding was a classic, elegant affair that we absolutely adored! The couple chose a cool color palette of navy and rose gold, with a few silver accents (like the bridesmaids’ gowns) tossed in for some lovely contrast. Jennifer wore a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline, full tulle skirt, and diamond accessories that really made her shine. Nick looked smart in his navy suit — and he looked particularly handsome every time he smiled at his bride.
Nick’s cousin officiated the wedding, which was a traditional Christian ceremony. There was prayer, scripture readings, and the tying of a threefold cord, which represents the relationship between Jennifer, Nick, and Jesus. Throughout the I dos, this couple was grinning from ear to ear, and soon their smiles had spread to every guest.
The reception kicked off with the couple’s first dance — a performance to “She’s Every Woman” by Garth Brooks. Nick and Jennifer also danced with their parents during the evening; Nick and his mother danced to Garth Brook’s “Mom,” while Jennifer and her father danced to an original song, written and performed by the Maid of Honor and another friend. Guests sipped moscow mules (the evening’s signature cocktail) and dined on twice baked potatoes, tortellini primavera, grilled chicken stuffed with prosciutto and provolone, and herb-crusted prime rib.
By the end of the night, it was clear that Nick and Jennifer’s joy was infectious — everyone had great big smiles on their faces! It was a beautiful wedding for a beautiful, happy couple, and we believe that these two will certainly be #BeckerTogether forever.
