A Marvelous Maroon Wedding
On October 3, 2018, we at the Villa had the privilege to witness Franchesca and Brendan, a cute pair who are so in love, take the next step in their relationship.
Franchesca and Brendan had an elegant wedding, complete with a rich, maroon color palette and gorgeous arrangements of white and red roses. The bride wore a classic A-line gown with a v-neckline and a triangle cut out in the back.
The dress was covered in lace for a sweet, feminine touch, and Franchesca finished the look with diamond jewelry and a fingertip veil. She was absolutely breathtaking — seriously, we heard a few awestruck gasps as she walked down the aisle!
Of course, the rest of the wedding party was looking lovely, too.
Brendan was dressed in a timeless three-piece suit with a fun bowtie for a whimsical touch. The bridesmaids wore long maroon A-line dresses, while the groomsmen opted for slacks, white button downs, and maroon suspenders and bowties.
The ceremony was sweet and heartfelt, with translations in both English and Spanish. The couple lit a unity candle, heard scripture readings from their officiants, and received prayer and blessings over their new life as a married couple.
The officiants also gave the newlyweds a new Bible with their names written on it as their first wedding gift.
After the ceremony, it was time for everyone’s favorite part of a wedding — cake!
A live band played while guests enjoyed a three-tier white cake covered in red roses. On the first tier, a silver topper read “happily ever after” — and if this wedding was any indication, these two have a lifetime of happiness to come!
