Rachel and Nick, who met through mutual friends, were married on June 23, 2019.
Rachel dazzled in a strapless ballgown with a plunging sweetheart neckline and a full skirt with a train. Her accessories included drop earrings, a pendant necklace, and a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of large blooms in shades of ivory and pale pink accented with greenery.
Her three bridesmaids wore individual full-length dresses in pale hues and carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Nick got married in a dark blue suit with a white shirt, pale pink tie, and white flower boutonniere. His three groomsmen wore light gray suits with white shirts, pale pink ties, and white flower boutonnieres.
At the indoor ceremony, Nick told Rachel that she was the only one for him, while Rachel told Nick that God brought them together for a reason. The couple took Communion during the ceremony.
Later at the reception, guests enjoyed a meal of classic Caesar salad, green beans, creamy mashed potatoes, sliced beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce, and chicken breast in a mushroom and wine reduction. There was also gelato and a dessert bar.
The wedding cake was all white.
The newlyweds’ first dance was to “Best Part” by H.E.R. Rachel and her father danced to “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle. Nick and his mother danced to “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw. There was also an anniversary dance to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran.
During the toasts, Rachel’s father talked about how perfect the couple are for each other, while Nick’s father talked about how kind his son is to everyone. One maid of honor spoke about how happy Nick makes Rachel; the other said how happy she is for the newlyweds, and joked about how tall they are. The best man gave the couple wedding advice, and Nick and Rachel thanked everyone for coming and celebrating with them.
Rachel and Nick left their special day under the signature sparkler send-off.
We wish the happy couple all the best in the future!
