Chelsea and Ryan ~ June 8, 2019

Chelsea and Ryan, who met at the University of Arizona, were married on June 8, 2019.

Chelsea chose a romantic A-line off-the shoulder gown with embellishment on the bodice. Her accessories included a crystal and pearl necklace, drop earrings, and a veil that has been passed down through her family since her great-grandmother’s wedding. Her cascade-style bouquet had an assortment of large pink and white blooms blended with greenery.

Her seven bridesmaids wore coordinating pale-pink full-length dresses with a variety of necklines. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Ryan looked sharp in a dark blue tuxedo with a dark blue vest, black bow tie, white shirt, white pocket square, and mini bouquet boutonniere. His four groomsmen wore dark blue suits with dark blue vests, white shirts, pale pink ties, and white flower boutonnieres. The groomswoman wore a sleeveless full-length dark blue dress.

During the indoor ceremony, the officiant shared things the couple had written that they love about each other—Ryan loves Chelsea’s freedom and passion for life, while Chelsea loves Ryan’s rationality. Ryan’s father shared a Bible verse.

Afterward, guests sat down to a meal of baby-greens salad, creamy mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, sliced beef tenderloin, and caprese chicken.

In the speeches, the best man talked about how he met Ryan and how the two are like brothers, and thanked Ryan’s parents for raising such a passionate and smart man. The maids of honor, the bride’s younger sisters, spoke about how they can always count on Chelsea, who always supports them. They also said that Ryan feels just like a brother to them. Chelsea’s father thanked everyone for coming and supporting the family, and talked about how the newlyweds are now starting a family of their own.

Ryan and Chelsea’s first dance together as a married couple was to “How Would You Feel” by Ed Sheeran. Chelsea and her father danced to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland. Ryan and his mother danced to “Do I Make You Proud” by Taylor Hicks. Slideshows played during the father-daughter and mother-son dances.

Other wedding fun included a carnival dance performance, an anniversary dance, and a wedding program that looked like a newspaper.

The three-tier wedding cake was done in a white ruffle design decorated with pink flowers.

Chelsea and Ryan left their wedding under the signature sparkler send-off.

We wish them all the best in their new marriage!
