A “Happily Ever After” for Two Disney Stars
Sarah and Kurt are a sweet couple who like a Disney prince and princess come to life… so it was no surprise for us to learn that they met as performers for Disney on Ice! These two tied the knot last February in a charming, romantic ceremony that was certainly fit for royalty.
The couple chose a classic color scheme of navy and light pink for their special day.
The groom and his buds looked extra sharp in navy tuxes — and their cactus-printed socks added a little extra personality!
Sarah’s bridesmaids wore long pink gowns with lovely gold detailing on the bodices.
And as for the bride? She was every breathtaking in her a-line chiffon gown, complete with a rhinestone belt, pearl necklace, chapel-length veil, and tiara.
The ceremony started out simply; the officiant asked Sarah and Kurt to take a moment and just look at each other, giving them time to crystallize this amazing moment in their memories. Then, the couple said their vows, exchanged rings, finally sealed their union with a kiss.
It was a lovely, heartwarming ceremony for two people who, as the officiant said, “are essentially perfect for each other.”
After Mr. and Mrs. Stoll were officially wed, guests moved into the reception hall for dinner, dancing, photos at the “selfie station,” and a signature beverage (amaretto sour).
Throughout the night, guests enjoyed a meal of Caesar salad, sweet ginger glazed carrots, creamy Parmesan risotto, sliced beef tenderloin, and chicken stuffed with provolone and prosciutto.
While the wedding was a classic, traditional affair, Sarah and Kurt did add a few subtle nods to the company that brought them together.
They gave their guests bottle openers featuring those iconic Mickey Mouse ears, and they even decorated their cake with a scene from the Disney film Tangled.
Finally, at the end of the evening, the couple enjoyed a sparkler-lit exit that truly filled their wedding with magic.
We suspect that this beautiful day was just one of many happy memories these two will make in their “happily ever after.”
