Bethany & Caitlyn ~ November 24, 2019

It’s a love story that began in high school, and on November 24, 2019, longtime sweethearts Bethany and Caitlyn finally tied the knot.

Bethany looked gorgeous in a strapless fit-and-flare gown with a sweetheart neckline, lace overlay, and jeweled belt. Her accessories included a pendant necklace, a jeweled headband, and a fingertip veil. Caitlyn dazzled in a traditional ballgown with 3/4-length sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, a jeweled belt, and a full skirt. She accessorized with a gold bracelet, small hoop earrings, and a fingertip veil. Both brides carried a bouquets of red, white, and pink flowers.

The three bridesmaids wore full-length maroon dresses in individual silhouettes. They carried smaller versions of the brides’ bouquets. The three “bridesmen” looked sharp in dark blue suits with maroon vests, white shirt, maroon ties, white flower boutonnieres, maroon pocket squares, and brown shoes.

Disney music played during the outdoor ceremony, and the officiant told the brides that their marriage was not fate — they chose to be together. Bethany and Caitlyn lit a unity candle to signify the joining of their lives.

Next, during the reception, attendees checked in at a table decorated with photos of a brides, a Polaroid guest book, and a place to contribute the newlyweds’ honeymoon fund. Wedding favors included garlic-infused olive oil, fortune cookies, and Mickey Mouse bottle openers.

The meal began with a Caesar salad with romaine lettuce, pear tomatoes, Romano cheese, house-made Caesar dressing, and a Parmesan cheese crisp. Entrees included a grilled boneless breast of chicken filled with prosciutto and provolone cheese with lemon beurre blanc sauce, and a flatiron steak with chimichurri sauce. Side dishes were penne pasta with roasted red pepper and vodka sauce; twice-baked potatoes with cheese, sour cream, bacon, and chives; and fresh green beans topped with toasted almond slivers and butter. There was also a dessert table full of Mickey Mouse cookies, Eiffel Tower cookies, Hershey’s Kisses, mints, cannolis, madeleines, and assorted pastries.

In the speeches, Bethany’s sister spoke about the impact the newlyweds have made on her life, and reminisced about the first time she met Caitlyn. The man of honor, the brides’ best friend, said that he is inspired by their relationship and that he can’t wait to see their future accomplishments. In addition, one person from each guest table spoke.

Caitlyn and Bethany’s first dance together was to “From the Ground Up” by Dan & Shay. They danced with their fathers to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw. There was also a married couples’ dance to “At Last” by Etta James.

The three-tier white wedding cake had a brushed frosting pattern on the top and botton layers and a dotted frosting look on the middle layer. It was decorated with cascading roses and a gold “Happily Ever After” topper.

We wish the newlyweds eternal love and joy!
