Carl and Jim, who had been together for 14 years, started a new chapter in their love story when they were married on September 27, 2019.
The grooms wore matching black suits with red vests, red ties, white shirts, red pocket squares, and red rose boutonnieres. The wedding party also included two best men.
Jim and Carl walked hand-in-hand to get married down an aisle laid with a red runner. Once wed, the couple lit a unity candle to symbolize the joining of their lives. A big group photo including all the guests was taken during the recessional.
Next, attendees sat down to a dinner of cheese- and spinach-stuffed chicken, barbecue brisket, herb-roasted small potatoes, and honey-glaze baby carrots.
In the speeches, the best men spoke of their love for the grooms and wished them all the best. Carl thanked all of the guests for being with them on their wedding day.
The three-tier white wedding cake had a red ribbon around the base of each layer, and was topped with an ornament depicting two grooms facing each other and holding hands.
We wish the happy couple nothing but love and joy in the future!
