Thalia and Dominick, who met in high school, were married in a gorgeous winter wedding on December 13, 2019.
Thalia looked radiant in an A-line gown with an embellished overlay, lace illusion sleeves, a button-down back, and an illusion sweetheart neckline. Her bouquet was composed of red and white flowers accented with several types of greenery. She was accompanied by five bridesmaids in long red dresses.
Dominick wore a black suit with a white brocade vest, white shirt, white tie, white pocket square, and a red rose boutonniere. His five groomsmen wore black suits with black vests, white shirts, red ties, red pocket squares, and red rose boutonnieres.
After an offsite ceremony, the party began at Villa Siena. A jazz band played during the cocktail hour, then in a room decorated with Christmas trees and other winter items, guests sat down to a meal of classic Caesar salad with romaine lettuce, pear tomatoes, fresh Romano cheese, house-made dressing, and a Parmesan crisp; creamy Parmesan risotto; tortellini primavera in Alfredo sauce with vegetables; grilled boneless chicken breast filled with prosciutto and provolone cheese with a lemon beurre blanc sauce; and sliced beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce and horseradish aioli. The wedding favors were little boxes of almonds.
In the speeches, the best man, the groom’s brother called said that behind every great man is an amazing woman, and Thalia is that woman to Dominick. The maid of honor, the bride’s best friend, shared memories of the two of them and said that the newlyweds are meant for each other. Dominick’s father welcomed Thalia’s family to their family, and talked about how special the couple are. Thalia’s father said that the couple’s two hearts will work together and bring more to the world than they could on their own.
Dominick and Thalia had their first dance as man and wife to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Thalia and her father danced to “Cinderella” by Steven Curtis Chapman. Dominick and his mother danced to “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Other party fun included a dollar dance.
The four-tier wedding cake was done with white frosting and a naked look. A red ribbon graced the bottom of each tier, and the cake was decorated with red and white flowers, pine boughs, and pinecones.
Thalia and Dominick left their wedding under the signature sparkler send-off. We wish them all the joy in the world!
