Kayla and Mike, who met at work, were married November 14, 2020.
Kayla looked gorgeous in a sleeveless ballgown with spaghetti straps, illusion sweetheart neckline, and full skirt with an embellished overlay and a train. Her accessories included a hip-length veil. Her bouquet incorporated a variety of white flowers with thistles and botanical accents. Her six bridesmaids wore matching pale green full-length sleeveless dresses with V necklines. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Mike got married in a light gray suit with a light gray vest, white shirt, royal blue tie, and white flower boutonniere. His four groomsmen wore light gray suits with white shirts, royal blue ties, and white flower boutonnieres.
In the outdoor ceremony, the couple recited traditional vows to each other. The officiant remarked that the essence of any relationship is commitment.
Next, guests enjoyed a meal of a classic Caesar salad with braised beef short ribs, grilled chicken breast, tortellini primavera, and creamy mashed potatoes.
In the speeches, Kayla’s mother complimented her daughter’s beauty and skill in planning the wedding. The maid of honor and best man spoke as well.
Mike and Kayla’s first dance as man and wife was to “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole. Kayla and her father danced to “Daddy’s Little Girl” by Al Martino. Mike and his mother danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. Other wedding fun included an anniversary dance to “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton, and a bouquet toss.
The three-tier white wedding cake had a silver band around the bottom of each layer. It was topped with an ornament with the couple’s last name.
Congratulations to this beautiful couple!
