True Love finds Victoria and Joseph
One of our favorite things about hosting weddings here at Villa Siena is listening to each couple give their vows. Whether they opt to write their own declarations of love or stick to the traditional script, there’s something so magical about hearing those promises spoken aloud. And when Victoria and Joseph got married here in February, it was no exception.
The couple chose a color scheme of beautiful pastels — the perfect choice for a wedding that takes place right as winter starts giving way to spring. They decorated the Plaza Toscana with baby pink roses, a classic white aisle runner, and heaps of beautiful greenery. The bridal party also sported classically beautiful looks, from the bridesmaids’ romantic blush gowns to Joseph and his groomsmen’s simple black suits.
But of course, no one was quite so lovely as Victoria. The bride wore a pure white a-line gown, which featured lacy ¾ length sleeves and a stunning cathedral train. She complimented the look with a low bun hairdo and understated (yet beautiful) makeup — but the best part of her ensemble had to be her beaming smile as she approached her future husband.
Victoria and Joseph were married by her father in a sweet and very romantic ceremony. The couple chose to write their own vows, and the words they read were enough to warm the hearts of everyone in attendance. Joseph promised to keep Victoria laughing throughout their lives, while Victoria talked about how excited she was for them to grow together. They were genuine declarations of love and affection, and by the time the couple had said “I do” and were headed to the reception (with a flower petal exit), it was clear that theirs was a love that’s meant to last.
