Jazmin looked stunning in a sleeveless sheath gown with an embellished bodice, a V neckline, and a train. Her accessories included a heart necklace and a full-length veil with embroidery accents. Her bouquet was composed of white and red flowers accented with eucalyptus and other greenery. Her seven bridesmaids wore matching maroon off-the-shoulder full-length dresses. They carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Nathan got married in navy blue suit with a navy blue vest, maroon tie, white shirt, and mini bouquet boutonniere. His seven groomsmen wore navy blue suits with maroon ties, white shirts, and mini bouquet boutonnieres.
Jazmin met her groom at the altar while the song “Can’t Help Falling in Love” played. The officiant reminded the couple that in marriage, the little things are the big things.
Later, guests enjoyed a meal of spring mix salad with strawberries, apples, grapes, feta, and pecans with poppy seed vinaigrette; creamy Parmesan risotto; ginger-glazed carrots; sliced beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce and horseradish aioli; and sauteed chicken breast in mushroom and Marsala sauce. The groom’s signature cocktail was ginger ale and whiskey; the bride’s drink was a Bee’s Knees with gin, lemon juice, and honey. The reception also had a dessert table, and the favors were macarons.
During the toasts, the best man called Nathan a die-hard romantic. Nathan’s father gave the newlyweds marriage advice. Jazmin’s brother and stepfather also gave toasts.
Jazmin and Nathan’s first dance was to “Stand By Me.” Jazmin and her mother danced to “Mother Like Mine” by The Band Perry, and Nathan and his mother danced to “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw. Other wedding fun included a bouquet and garter toss and an anniversary dance.
Jazmin changed into a red dress for a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
The three-tier white wedding cake was done in a naked frosting design with a gold drip on the top tier. It was decorated with flowers and an ornament with the couple’s last name.
We wish love, luck, and happiness to the newlyweds!
