Rachael and Michael: Wedded Bliss in Lovely Lavender
Rachael and Michael were married in September, when summer fades and shifts towards the earthy colors of fall. But despite the changing seasons, this couple opted for a dreamy cream-and-lavender palette that looked absolutely gorgeous against the bricks and stones of our Plaza Toscana!
On the big day, the wedding party was dressed to impress. Three bridesmaids wore long mauve dresses, while one wore a gray suit with a mauve tie. Michael and his groomsmen were looking smart in their navy blue suits with mauve vests and ties (except for our groom, who wore a navy vest and black tie). And of course, Rachel was breathtaking in her wedding gown; the sleeveless dress featured a sheer illusion and was covered in lace roses for a truly elegant look.
The ceremony was short, sweet, and traditional. Rachael and Michael said their vows, exchanged their rings and lit a unity candle to represent their new life together. Soon, it was time for Michael to kiss his bride, and for everyone else to head inside for the party!
The reception was filled with dancing, laughter, and games! The couple and their guests played the shoe game, participate in a “money dance,” and tossed the garter and bouquet, all while enjoying a buffet dinner of arugula salad with peaches, roasted potatoes with garlic, New York strip steak, grilled asparagus with pancetta, and baked salmon with lemon dill sauce.
Throughout it all, Rachael and Michael had bright, beautiful smiles on their faces. It was clear that they were immensely happy — and if you ask us, their wedding day was just the start of a very happy marriage.
