Jessica & Wayne ~ August 28, 2021

When Jessica and Wayne met in a junior high math class, they had no idea they’d just found the person they would marry, but they tied the knot on August 28, 2021.

Jessica looked radiant in an off-the-shoulder sheath gown with a sweetheart neckline, embroidered overlay, and a train. She accessorized with a jeweled hair ornament and pearl earrings. Her bouquet was composed of a variety of flowers in shades of white, pink, and coral, with greenery accents. Her man of honor wore a blue suit with a white shirt, pink tie, pink pocket square, and mini bouquet boutonniere. Her three bridesmaids wore individual full-length dresses in shades of pink and carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.

Wayne wore a blue suit with a white shirt, sage green tie, and mini bouquet boutonniere. His four groomsmen wore blue suits with white shirts, sage green ties, sage green pocket squares, and mini bouquet boutonnieres.

Jessica walked down the aisle to meet her groom to the sounds of a string quartet playing Alicia Keys’ “No One.” There was a flower guy instead of a flower girl. A cousin delivered a prayer.

Next, guests dined on spring mix salad with baby spinach, strawberries, apples, grapes, feta cheese, and pecans wrapped in a daikon radish with poppy seed vinaigrette; twice-baked potatoes with cheese, sour cream, and bacon crumbles; tortellini primavera; sauteed chicken breast with a mushroom and Marsala reduction; and flatiron steak with chimichurri sauce. Desserts included macarons and churros.

Several people gave toasts, including the maid of honor, the man of honor, and the best man.

Wayne and Jessica’s first dance as man and wife was to “More of You” by Chris Stapleton. Jessica and her father danced to “I Give My Best to You” by Gwen Guthrie.

The two-tier wedding cake was done in a textured stripe pattern and was decorated with fresh flowers.

Jessica and Wayne left their big day under the signature sparkler exit.

We wish the newlyweds a long and beautiful life together!
