Brittney and Colton Unplug for Love
These days, we see so many wedding guests watch the big day through their phone screen. While there’s nothing wrong with capturing the moment to share online (we love a good wedding hashtag), there’s something refreshing about the “unplugged wedding.” And back in October, Brittney and Colton reminded us just how great a phone-free wedding can be!
This couple had a classy wedding with a romantic and sweet color palette of pale pink and ivory. They decorated the Plaza Toscana with peonies and white roses. The bridesmaids wore long, pastel pink gowns in assorted styles. The groomsmen wore navy suits with pink bow ties, and Colton stood out with a darker suit. And finally, Brittney was a gorgeous bride in her v-neck dress complete with floral detailing and a long, dramatic train. As she walked down the aisle, she took everyone’s breath away — especially Colton’s!
After a traditional ceremony, the couple and their guests moved inside for the reception. Brittney and Colton kicked things off with their first dance to Calum Scott’s “You Are The Reason.” Then, Brittney and her father danced to “She’s Somebody’s Daughter” by Drew Baldridge and Colton and his mother danced to “I Hope You Dance,” (sung by Colton’s sister).
Soon guests were munching on a delicious dinner of spring mix salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, filet mignon, and stuffed chicken breast with lemon sauce (yum!). After dinner, the evening was filled with entertainment, like tearing up the dance floor, posing in the photo booth, and even having a smoke at the cigar bar! These newlyweds sure know how to throw a party, and we suspect they have a lifetime of amazing memories ahead of them!
