Brittany & Jon ~ October 18, 2021

Love was in the air on the October day that Brittany and Jon became husband and wife. Their wedding had a classic, romantic theme, complete with white hydrangea and shades of red and pink everywhere. The couple decorated the Plaza Toscana with white floral arrangements, candles, and white flower petals, creating an ethereal space to celebrate their love.

When the ceremony started, Jon and his groomsmen took their places at the altar looking sharp in their navy blue suits and salmon ties. Soon, Brittany’s bridesmaids made their way down the aisle. They each wore long, salmon-colored gowns (with a sparkly gold bodice for the maid of honor). Brittany and Jon’s two dogs followed in the procession as the official — and adorable — “dogs of honor.” And finally, it was Brittany’s turn to walk up the aisle to the man of her dreams.

Brittany was a lovely bride, wearing a strapless white gown covered in sheer lace and floral appliques. Her hair was elegantly pinned to one side and covered with small flowers, and her pearl jewelry added a classically-beautiful touch. But of course, the most dazzling thing about our bride was her smile, because you could tell this was one of the happiest days of her life!

The couple had a traditional wedding ceremony with a few unique touches. In addition to their regular vows, Brittany and Jon had a “wine box ceremony.” During this ceremony, they placed a bottle of wine into a box to commemorate their special day, which they’ll open at a later time in their marriage. It was a beautiful nod to the celebrations that lie ahead — but they didn’t have to wait too long, because one celebration was about to begin.

After the ceremony, the Plaza Toscana was transformed into an outdoor reception space. Guests enjoyed a dinner of spring mix salad, mashed potatoes, tortellini primavera, grilled chicken breast, flat iron steak, and julienned vegetables. For dessert, Brittany and Jon offered their guests both cake and pie, so everyone could enjoy something sweet!

The reception was filled with food, dancing, games, and laughter — exactly what you’d want from your wedding day. Congratulations to Brittany and Jon, and we know you have many happy years ahead!
