The first word Jacob said to Lily was “Howdy,” but on November 18, 2021, they both said “I do.”
Lily dazzled in a sleeveless ballgown with spaghetti straps, V neckline, embellished bodice, and full tiered skirt. Her accessories included drop earrings, a pendant necklace, and a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed from a variety of white flowers and greenery. Her three bridesmaids wore matching emerald green, full-length dresses with spaghetti straps and V necklines. They carried modified versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Jacob got married in an emerald green blazer with black lapels, white shirt, black bow tie, and white rose boutonniere. His three groomsmen wore black suits with white shirts, black bow ties, green pocket squares, and white flower boutonnieres.
The couple were married in a bilingual outdoor ceremony. Lily said that she knew Jacob was the one of the first date, and Jacob said he knew Lily was his future wife from day one.
Afterward, guests enjoyed a meal of spring mix with baby spinach, strawberries, apples, grapes, feta, and pecans wrapped in a daikon radish with poppy seed vinaigrette; potatoes au gratin; wild rice and quinoa mixed with vegetables; caprese chicken; and flatiron steak.
In the speeches, the maid of honor spoke about how they reconnected during tough times, that Jacob gave Lily her shine back, and that Jacob is a beautiful soul. The best man said he couldn’t think of a better couple to end up together.
Lily and Jacob shared a traditional first dance. Lily danced with her father. Jacob and his mother danced to “Stand by Me.” Lily and her young son also shared a dance. Other wedding fun included an anniversary dance, the shoe game, and a bouquet and garter toss.
The two-tier wedding cake was done in white with a brushed green and gold design. It was decorated with white roses and topped with an ornament bearing the couple’s last name.
Lily and Jacob left their big day under the signature sparkler exit.
We’re so happy for this beautiful couple!
