An Old-Fashioned Kind of Love for Caroline and Nathan
Caroline and Nathan may have had a modern romance (after all, they first connected on Tinder), but their November wedding was full of vintage charm and old-school class.
The couple chose a lovely autumn-inspired color palette of burgundy and orange. The bridesmaids wore burgundy velvet midi dresses with a ruffled, off-the-shoulder neckline. Nathan and his groomsmen wore navy blue suits with pops of color to match the theme (burgundy bow ties for the groomsmen, an orange tie for the groom). And as for the bride, she was gorgeous in her lacy, mermaid-style gown with sheer sleeves and an off-the-shoulder neckline.
The couple was married in our indoor wedding space, La Stanza Chianciano. They shared vows they had written themselves (Caroline’s vows were inspired by a love letter she wrote to Nathan when they met five years ago!). It was a sweet and deeply personal ceremony, and before long the officiant was introducing our new husband and wife (hooray!).
After the ceremony, guests moved into the reception hall for dinner and dancing. The room was elegantly decorated with black table linens, vintage plates, and vases of floating candles. Caroline and Nathan kicked things off by sharing their first dance to “That’s All” by Nat King Cole. Then, it was time to tuck into a delicious meal of spring mix salad, potatoes au gratin, sweet ginger glazed carrots, grilled Atlantic salmon in an herb glaze sauce, and flat iron steak with green chimichurri sauce.
The evening was a magical one, filled with fun, laughter, and old-school charm. We know that Caroline and Nathan enjoyed themselves, and we wish this sweet couple all the happiness in the world as they start this adventure together.
