Mary Katherine and Reu Daniel: Wedded Bliss in Blush and Sage
Mary Katherine and Reu Daniel are college sweethearts who were lucky enough to find true love in one another. And when they tied the knot here at the Villa in December, we knew they needed to have a day that was just as sweet and lovely as they are.
The couple opted for a romantic color palette of blush pink and sage green. We decorated our Plaza Toscana with floral arrangements filled with white and pink roses that beautifully complimented the lush greenery surrounding the plaza. The bridal party dressed to impress; the bridesmaids wore long, sage green gowns, while Reu Daniel and his groomsmen sported classic gray suits and sage ties.
And of course, our bride was a vision in her white Madison James gown. Mary Katherine’s gown featured a high neck illusion, an elegant low back, and a stunning beaded train. As she walked down the aisle, everyone’s eyes were on her — and you could tell from Reu Daniel’s smile that he thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world.
The ceremony was short, sweet, and heartfelt. The couple read their own vows, exchanged rings, and were finally pronounced husband and wife (yay!). Then, it was time to transform the Plaza Toscana into a charming outdoor reception space.
The couple kicked off the reception by dancing to Landon Pigg’s “Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop” (a nod to their first date). Then, they danced with their mother and father, respectively, before sitting down to a delicious wedding meal.
Guests enjoyed a baby green salad with raspberry vinaigrette, potatoes au gratin, fresh green beans, sliced beef tenderloin, and grilled chicken topped with a mango, peach, and pineapple salsa. Then, it was time for everyone to mingle, laugh, and dance the night away! This wedding was a wonderful way for Mary Katherine and Reu Daniel to begin their life together, and we wish this sweet couple a lifetime of happiness and love.
