Personal Touches and Special Moments Filled Kate and George’s Wedding Day
Pink roses and white hydrangeas are a dreamy start to any wedding — and Kate and George’s day was certainly dreamy! Kate was such a beautiful bride in her ballgown dress with mesh sleeves, and that amazing, lovely detailing across the top and shoulders. And George’s blue suit was the perfect choice for the pinks, peaches, whites, and creams of the day — all making for a gorgeous June wedding.
With rose petals lining the aisle and a beautiful floral decoration over the mantle, it was an absolutely stunning backdrop for the couple to begin their union. The ceremony was performed by an elder of the LDS church and it was obvious just how much family and faith mean to this couple, and that they were embarking on a committed life together.
The reception was clearly a hit with all of their friends and family — and Kate and George, of course! We loved the way their family got involved, with the bride’s uncle giving a blessing, and it was such a charming personal twist that Kate had made the groom’s cake herself. (And it looked incredible by the way, German chocolate cake with coconut pecan frosting — yum!)
The couple had a wonderful first dance to “Yours” by Russel Dickerson, and the night took off with so much fun to be had. That photo booth certainly got plenty of use! The entire day was so full of love and faith, it was clear by the time the couple left with a sparkler send-off that they were only just beginning their big adventure together!
