Rachel and Andrew were married on April 17, 2022.
Rachel chose a lovely A-line gown with long illusion sleeves, an embellished bodice with a leaf motif, a V neckline, plunging back and a train. She accessorized with drop earrings and a full-length veil. Her bouquet incorporated a variety of flowers in shades of peach, yellow, and blue. Her four bridesmaids wore individual, full-length, navy blue satin gowns. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet, tied with yellow and blue ribbons.
Andrew got married in a black tuxedo with a white shirt, white bow tie, and white flower boutonniere. His five groomsmen wore black tuxedos with white shirts, black bow ties, and white flower boutonnieres.
A harpist played music during the outdoor ceremony. The couple’s wedding rings were passed around by the guests so they could pray over them.
Later guests dined on mixed-greens salad with house vinaigrette dressing; grilled Tuscan chicken with shiitake and portobello mushrooms in a creamy balsamic glaze; tortellini primavera; and potatoes au gratin. The signature cocktails were margaritas and mojitos. Each guest received a personalized letter from the bride and groom to be read during dinner.
During the speeches, the maid of honor talked about her long friendship with the bride.
Andrew and Rachel’s first dance as man and wife was to “A World With You” by Jason Mraz. Rachel and her father and Andrew and his mother danced to “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts. The anniversary dance was to “L-O-V-E” by Hit Crew. Other wedding fun included a photobooth for the guests.
The three-tier white wedding cake was decorated with white leaves and blue flowers.
Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
