Yahaira and Nathaniel tied the knot on April 20, 2022.
Yahaira wore an elegant off-the-shoulder gown with a ruched bodice and a jeweled detail at the waist. Her accessories included drop earrings and a matching necklace, and a full-length veil with a crystal bead trim. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses accented with thistles. Her three bridesmaids wore individual royal blue, full-length dresses. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Nathaniel looked sharp in a blue suit with a white shirt, paisley tie, ivory rose boutonniere, and lavender pocket square. His three groomsmen wore gray suits with gray vests, white shirts, royal blue ties, ivory rose boutonnieres, and royal blue pocket squares.
The couple’s mothers performed a candle ritual during the outdoor ceremony, during which a harpist also played.
Friends and family signed little wooden hearts in lieu of a guestbook, then enjoyed a meal of grilled chicken breast with chipotle glaze topped with fruit salsa; beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce; potatoes au gratin; creamy risotto; and salad with poppy seed vinaigrette dressing. The wedding favors were little jars of honey.
In the speeches, the maid of honor, the bride’s sister, said that Nathaniel makes Yahaira the happiest she’s ever been. The best man spoke about how he’s known Nathaniel since high school.
The newlyweds shared a special dance, as did Yahaira and her father. The anniversary dance was to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong.
The three-tier wedding cake was done in white. The top and bottom tiers had a paisley design with black accents and the middle tier had a dot design with black accents. It was accented with white roses and thistles and topped with a funny ornament of a bride dragging a groom.
Best wishes to the newlyweds!
